Hi "Posh Girls" and welcome to Nicole Marie's blogs. If you haven't followed me yet, I'm so glad you found me. These blogs are designed to help you with any of your beauty questions, especially when it comes to bridal hair and bridal makeup. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at nicolemariesbeautyservices@gmail.com and I will be happy and honored to answer anything of those beauty, fashion, hair, bridal makeup or bridal hair inquiries. I always loved fashion and the way an outfit looks right down to the nail polish. I'm not usually the throw on a T-shirt and go out the door person, I have plenty of time to be in a T-shirt being a mom of almost two (one baby on the way), so let's walk out of the house with at least a little bronzer, gloss, some cool shades, and let's be fashionista's today!
Ok, so let's get to the problem solving of beauty nightmares. I had someone email me about a time where she had her makeup applied, and when she asked for smokey eye she looked like she had a black eye from being in a fight. This is not good! Not only does she have to tell her makeup artist she isn't happy, but she's not sure if the artist could deliver. At Nicole Marie's we give the staff education and classes beyond what the average business gives. I'm (Miss. "Posh") always looking into all the fashion trends and new technology. Bridal makeup came along way, even from a few years ago. So to get back to the question at hand, I would recommend slightly softer shades like greys and browns. If you even have the slightest dark circles (as do I) this will warm it up a bit. Then your going to follow your lash lines, sweeping color just along the rims of your eyes, ending a bit past the corners. Then apply a slightly lighter shade to the entire lid and blend in past your creases. Line your bottom lids with a lighter shade and it's a wrap! The perfect smokey eye that's not too dark.
